Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs addressed ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions in Iran, and heads of international organizations’ offices during a meeting in the capital Tehran.

Ali Bagheri elucidated the fundamental positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and noted: “The prevailing situation in the occupied Palestine serves as a vivid example of both regional and international insecurity, and a manifestation of crime and genocide.”

 During the meeting, Bagheri stressed that the Palestinian cause transcends the issues of Palestine-Zionist regime, Arabs-Zionist regime, or Muslims-Zionist regime, but rather, it is a matter concerning humanity and the international community as a whole.

 He stressed: “The resistance displayed by the Palestinian people against the occupation, the persistent gross violations of their human rights, and the desecration of Islamic sanctities by the occupying Zionist regime constitute their legitimate and lawful defense in the real sense of the word.”

 Cautioning governments supporting the Zionist regime and elucidating the necessity to reassess their stances, Bagheri urged all nations to fulfill their human and moral responsibilities by bringing an end to the crimes perpetrated by the Zionist regime in Palestine and putting a stop to the relentless attacks on Gaza.

 The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs warned the Zionist regime and its supporters and stated: We cannot allow the occupying regime, bolstered by unwavering support from the West, to change the demographics of Palestine and commit genocide [within Palestine] while simultaneously expecting others to be standing idly by like spectators and disregard such heinous crimes.”

 Bagheri added: “The Zionists should know that the Muslim people of the region and the free people of the world will not tolerate such flagrant oppression.”

 He highlighted the imperative to promptly and unconditionally halt the escalation of the Zionist regime’s crazy actions that have resulted in the killing of the oppressed and defenseless Palestinian people.

 Bagheri stated: The ongoing bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip by the apartheid Zionist regime will inflame the gunpowder storehouse, fueling the fury of regional nations and justice-seeking individuals worldwide.
